Outline Biography

Born at 1968, attended College of Pharmacy/ University of Baghdad at 1986 and graduated at 1991.

From 1991 to 2006, worked at the Teaching hospital, General hospital, Central DOH/Warehouse, occupied different positions including,  Clinical pharmacist, head of the drug and The therapeutic committee at Teaching and General Hospitals, Director of Drug and Medical Supplies department at DOH, member of the SCR-986 committee and being employed by WHO as a National pharmacist in the SCR-986 program for three years. A member of the high committee of the Kurdistan Medical Association and the head of the Pharmacy branch-Sulaimaniyah from 1998 to 2003.

On 2006 worked at the College of Pharmacy/UOS as a lab instructor, then as a teaching faculty staff since 2009 and the head of the Dept. of Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutical Chemistry till 2015, and the Vice Dean for School of pharmacy since 2010.

Author of four publications and one book.

My research interest includes the following fields;

1. Natural products.

2. Anticancers.

3. Biotechnology.
