Dr. Miran Taha is a distinguished academic with a robust telecommunications and computer science background. He obtained his M.Sc. degree from the University of Sulaimani and subsequently earned his Ph.D. in Telecommunications from the prestigious Polytechnic University of Valencia. His academic journey and professional achievements highlight his dedication and expertise in his field.

In 2011, Dr. Taha took on a significant leadership role as the Decider of the Computer Department at the University of Sulaimani. During his responsibility, his administrative capabilities and vision contributed to the department's growth and development. Currently, he holds the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Sulaimani, where he continues to inspire and mentor students.

Since 2016, Dr. Miran has been an active member of several esteemed professional organizations, including the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc), the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), and the European Alliance for Innovation (EAI).
