Outline Biography:
I was born in Baghdad on 21/3/1974, received a Physics B.Sc. degree from Baghdad University / College of Education for women in 1995, and a Master's Degree from Baghdad University in 2001 in thin film technology. And a Ph.D. degree in laser (also, Sol-Gel technique, nanotechnology) from Baghdad University / College of Science for Women in 2008.
I started working as a physicist assistant from 1996-2001 in the Department of Physics/College of Education for Women. After finishing my M.Sc. study in 2001, I got an assistant lecturer degree and worked in the College of Science for Women (College of Education for Women previously), then, in 2005 I got a lecturer degree from the same college. After that, I am working on my Ph.D research and teaching at the same college. In 2011 I got an Assistant Professor degree. In 2013 I transferred to the University of Sulaimani /School of Science Education, and taught in this School, in addition to occupying the responsibility of the higher education unit. Recently, with several of my colleagues, we have founded a scientific group in the material science and Sol-Gel technology fields. After that, two students; a master and a doctoral, graduated under my supervision.
My academic and professional interests focus on the preparation of laser active medium by Sol-Gel technique; however, I have worked on some other research and projects in thin films and studying their optical, electrical, and structural properties.
I have 20 published articles in laser, sol-gel technology, and thin films, and I also have 1 patent in the thin film field.
