My Philosophy in Teaching:
Education and learning are inseparable processes that complement each other and are often regarded as essential in university education. Neglecting one in favor of the other is a significant mistake, as both are crucial for developing well-rounded individuals who contribute positively to society. Our educational strategy should guide individuals towards self-confidence, critical thinking, innovation, and effective job searching. By solving problems in a constructive manner, we can cultivate productive and active individuals who will drive societal progress. To achieve this, we must enhance students' abilities and move beyond the limitations of rote learning to foster higher levels of understanding. Rote learning often leads to forgetfulness and does not promote true knowledge or practical application. Therefore, we must unlock students' hidden potential, enabling them to achieve the critical thinking and implementation skills necessary for success in fields like chemistry and science. This approach ensures that students can apply their knowledge in various contexts and over time. Students' thinking should be enriched with critical thinking skills that propel them towards innovation. They must continually strive for scientific change and innovation. Additionally, students should be educated to respect diverse opinions, times, places, and work environments. They should be encouraged to accept others with different ideas, religions, nationalities, and life philosophies, and to respect individual freedoms. In this way, we can prepare healthy, productive students who will become catalysts for progress in the country and for humanity.
