2. International Economics
My Philosophy in Teaching:
As an assistant professor in the Economic Department at the University of Sulaimani, my teaching philosophy revolves around fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment that promotes critical thinking, inspires curiosity, and prepares students for real-world challenges.
I believe in an active learning approach where students are active participants in the learning process. I strive to create an inclusive and interactive classroom atmosphere where students feel comfortable expressing their ideas and engaging in meaningful discussions. By encouraging students to think critically and analyze economic concepts from multiple perspectives, I aim to develop their problem-solving skills and enhance their ability to apply economic theories to practical situations.
In my teaching, I emphasize the importance of connecting theory with real-world applications. I utilize case studies and relevant examples to illustrate the practical implications of economic principles. By integrating current events and contemporary issues into the curriculum, I aim to help students understand the dynamic nature of the global economy and its impact on societies.
Finally, my goal as an economic lecturer is to empower my students to become critical thinkers, responsible decision-makers, and lifelong learners who can contribute meaningfully to the economic development of our region.
