I am Farhad Hassan Abdullah Mamshai, a Lecturer at the University of Sulaimani in Iraqi Kurdistan. Currently, I am a doctoral candidate at Virginia Tech (VT), residing in Virginia, United States. My research focuses on Environmental Security in Iraq. I hold a Master’s degree in Strategic and Defence Studies (MSDS) from the University of Malaya (UM). At the University of Sulaimani, I teach in the College of Political Sciences, Department of Politics and International Relations (DPIR).
