My Philosophy in Teaching

Everyone knows the physical side of sports but not too many people realize there is more that goes into every game that just the athletes playing. Sports management is the business side of sports, they are the people who help put the fans in the stands. The goal of sports management is to make each game successful and overall make the stadium a fun environment where people want to come out each chance they get.

There are many different areas in sports management, which include, sports finance, sports marketing, facility management, sports economics, and sports managers. Each area is very important and plays a big role in how the team will do that year. Each department as different tasks that they are responsible for, which includes areas like the budget, marketing to small and large companies, marketing to individuals, getting the players involved in the community, getting sponsors for the team and stadium, making sure the facility is safe and not at risk for any injuries, having fun activities for the fans on game days, working out the financial aspects and overall making the team a success.
