Academic Profile

I joined the department of geology in 2003 as BSc holder in Geology. I was appointed as an assistance Lecturer in wierline well logs on November 2008 . I have a PhD on reservoir characterization and rock typing methodology in heterogeneous carbonate reservoirs. My research concentrates on the petrophysical properties of the carbonate rocks and combination between outcrop data and subsurface data to create static model.

Research Interests

My research interest includes the following fields;

1. Reservoir evaluations in heterogeneous carbonate rocks..

2.Rock-typing methodology when dealing with heterogeneous carbonate with varied diagenetic overprints, to create a static model framework appropriate for dynamic reservoir modelling.
