My Philosophy in Teaching
Learning is, of course the main purpose of education. It is the goal of every student and the task of every teacher to increase knowledge and understanding in the lecture hall. I feel that concept of learning should be focused around 4 main areas:
1- Independent thoughts, being able to form unique ideas to solve problems.
2-Group interaction, sharing ideas and validate them with those of others, an important process in social &mental development.
3-Teacher should be prepared to lead students to reach correct conclusion and answers without providing the answers themselves.
4-Finally, stressing the use of learned ideas and processes in new situations. I believe that the teacher should act as advisors or facilitators and the student also need to feel comfortable approaching their instructors for discussion outside lecture hall.
Instructor need to make education as enjoyable and beneficial as possible to student.Teacher should set specific goals for
students and the hope of every teacher that the students will develop an interest in the subject area being taught.
