2. Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Group, Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Colombia (Category A according to Minciencias rank)
Since 2009, I am also an active alumni member of GIDIA (by its acronym in spanish). This is a multidisciplinary group working on different projects in the context of different applications of Artificial Intelligence covering different areas such as Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning, Multiagent Systems, etc.
3. ARKADIUS: Research group in Systems Engineering, Universidad de Medellín (Category A1 according to Minciencias rank)
Between 2017 and 2020, I was member of ARKADIUS research group at Universidad de Medellín. I work in the areas of Computer Networks, Security and Internet of Things.
Projects:
Application of programmable switches in the improvement of traffic processing in Data Center Networks: This research project, mostly based on the work developed during my PhD focuses in the exploration of the recent paradigm of programmable network devices and its applications to Data Center Networks. This project was internally funded by Universidad de Medellin
4. Computer Networks Research Group, Instituto de Informática, Universidade Federal de Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
During 2013 and 2018, I was an active member of the Computer Networks Research Group at INF - UFRGS under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Marinho Barcellos. I developed most of my doctoral research within this group and I participated of different activities and projects. The group has developed different projects both in Brazil and in cooperation with different institutions and governments in other countries.
Projects:
Phoenix: towards a robust and survivable SDN architecture: This research project proposed to investigate and develop an architecture that strengthens current guarantees and coordinates mechanisms to improve network survivability. This project was funded by MCTI/CNPq
