School Counseling Site Supervisors are trained to provide clinical supervision and to appropriately evaluate students. Site supervisors may review the webinar below for clinical supervision training. All site supervisors should complete the MEES Training Powerpoint from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education before evaluating students. 

Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education provides several resources for the MEES Evaluation tool used for school counseling interns. Scores on the summative MEES are used to determine certification eligibility. 

The MEES School Counselor Training Manual and MEES Candidate Growth Guide provide guidance for how to evaluate interns in each of the standards.  

School Counseling Site and University Supervisors complete the two formative and one summative MEES Evaluation for school counseling interns online via Tevera.
