Math Club Team

Jake Daniels (he/him) is a third year PhD student studying dynamical systems and pattern formation. Outside of school he enjoys watching/playing soccer, bouldering, reading, crocheting, and playing video games.

Anthony Cortez (he/him) is a fourth year math PhD student studying dynamical systems and nonlinear waves. When not toiling away in Vincent Hall, he is probably riding or fixing a bike.

Eleanore (she/they) is a second-year undergraduate majoring in Biochemistry and Mathematics with a minor in Insect Science. Besides math, they enjoy cross stitch, knitting, hiking, baking, and dungeons and dragons.

Akshat (he/him) is a master's student with interests in applied math. Outside of math, he enjoys weightlifting, rock climbing, reading, eating good food, and hanging out with friends!

Esteban (he/they) is a first year in the mathematics PhD program. He likes iced tea, porches, and sitting on porches while drinking iced tea.

Andrew (he/him) is a first year graduate student interested in number theory. Additionally, he enjoys playing board games, reading books, and playing music.

Nellie (she/her) is a fifth year math PhD student studying computational neuroscience with Professor Gregory Handy. She enjoys reading, knitting, and playing video games.

Michael (he/him) is a fourth year graduate student studying machine learning and computer vision with Professor Gilad Lerman. Outside of school, he enjoys board games, rock climbing, and Marvel movies.

Xiaoxing (he/him) is a first-year graduate student interested in dynamical systems and PDEs. In his free time, he enjoys drawing, cooking, karaoke, and a moderate amount of being in the woods.
