The pre-conference workshop Friday, February 4 provided our advisory team with background information and context to prepare them for our conference, "Shared Cultural Spaces: Islam and the West in the Arts and Sciences."
It was an opportunity for interaction and networking with colleagues from diverse institutional backgrounds who are committed to a building a better public awareness of Islam and the humanities.
The purpose of the workshop was to help begin the process for engaging with the conference themes and topics, and to start stimulating ideas that could be discussed later when developing proposals for public resources on Islam and the humanities.
Luckily for you, we caught it all on camera so you can share the experience with us. View a photo gallery of the workshop here.
