I have always tried to take on challenging problems in fluid dynamics (e.g. i- Super-large-scale field PIV: first-of-its kind field PIV for in-situ probing of atmospheric boundary layer around utility-scale wind turbines; ii- holographic PIV: novel and low cost 3D PIV using a single camera applicable to micro-fluidics and turbulent channel flows; iii- MRI velocmetry for in-vivo cardiovascular flows; iv- unique study of roughness deformability-turbulence interaction via simultaneous measurement of fluid velocity and solid deformation; and etc.).
