Hotel Accommodations

The Graduate Hotel is located on the East Bank Campus of the University of Minnesota, only 1 block from the McNamara Alumni Center conference site.

Attendees must arrange accommodations directly with the hotel. A block of rooms is being held at The Graduate Hotel for the attendees until March 10, 2022. Be sure to identify yourself as an attendee of the "Midwest International Economic Development Conference."

All reservations can be guaranteed for late arrival with a credit card of by an advanced deposit. Reservation requests after March 1, 2022 will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis.

Room Rates

A group rate of $169.00 plus tax is available for MIEDC Conference attendees.

Hotel Parking

Parking is available in the Washington Ave ramp behind the hotel. The daily parking fee is $15 per vehicle, which includes "in and out" privileges for registered overnight guests.

Hotel Shuttle Service

The Graduate Hotel has complimentary shuttle service within a five-mile radius of the hotel (based on availability. Shuttle charge may apply for groups and/or reservations.)

Options for Transportation

Transportation between the Minneapolis- St. Paul Airport and The Graduate Hotel

1. Visit http://www.metrotransit.org/ and select "Plan Your Trip". Enter "Airport Terminal 1- Lindbergh Station" in the "From" field and "The Graduate Hotel" in the "To" field, as well as the date and approximate time you plan to travel. Public transportation (Light Rail and City Bus combo) costs $2.25 or $1.75 one way, depending on the time of day.

2. Contact the hotel (612-379-8888) to see about the availability of the hotel shuttle to pick you up at the Light Rail Metrodome Station.

3. Super Shuttle Option: At the airport, follow the signs that say "Ground Transportation." Once there, ask for the Super Shuttle. Give them the name of the hotel you are staying at (The Graduate Hotel, if applicable). The charge is approximately $20 one way.

4. Uber or Lyft are available in the area.
