Geometry - Primitive
Parameters are the basic building blocks of definitions. They contain the data that Grasshopper uses in its various components. These toolbars are where you find these basic parameters. You can set the geometry or values of these components by assigning them to pre-drawn geometry in Rhino, by drawing them at the moment of assignment, or by inputting the value or a set of values.

It is good to familiarize yourself with these toolbars at first, but after using Grasshopper for awhile you may find that it is quicker to type the command for these parameters in the drawing board command line (found by double-clicking the drawing board) than searching the toolbar.
