Patient-centered research incorporates the perspectives and needs of patients into research studies. Many members of the ThyCARE team provide medical care to patients with thyroid conditions and therefore, their research questions are directly inspired by the patients they treat.  In addition, the team employs research methodology, such as patient surveys and patient focus groups, which incorporate patient perspectives. The ThyCARE team believes that through high quality research, we can improve patient care.
