Biography
Steve is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at King's College London and Visiting Scholar at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. His research explores how emerging technologies, from generative AI to genomics, are redefining contemporary societal challenges.
His work on cognitive surrender has been covered in TIME, The Economist, The New York Times, Forbes, BBC, The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, and Vox, among others.
Before joining Wharton, Steve earned a Ph.D. in Marketing and an M.A. in Statistics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, as well as dual B.Sc. degrees in Animal Behavior and Genetics and Psychology from The University of Western Ontario.
