The purpose of P.E.A.C. is to review proposed procedures, results and policies of endocrine screening of newborn infants in the State of Michigan who may be afflicted with such disorders as congenital hypothyroidism, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, hypopituitarism, hypercholesterolemia, etc. Recommendations are made to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, located in Lansing and to other individuals or groups implementing follow-up procedures/data collection for these infants.
