Research in my laboratory focuses on developmental and opioidergic mechanisms involved in psychiatric disorders such as depression and addiction. We also study novel treatments for these disease states. For rotation projects, students be involved with one or two small aspects of these projects typically focusing on one method or experimental procedure. After initial training on handling and injecting rodents, students will be expected to work independently.
