  • FractalStream is a fantastic piece of software, developed by Matt Noonan, that I use daily for drawing pictures in complex dynamics. Unfortunately, it only runs on Macs. I'm currently working on a project to create a new program with a similar interface and similar capabilities to FractalStream that will run on all machines. If you use FractalStream or other similar programs and there are certain features you're interested in seeing, I'd love to hear from you.
  • I gave a talk at Nerd Nite in Ann Arbor, talking about what pure math research looks like, as well as some funky fractals. The slides can be found here.
  • Here is a video that I made that depicts a Dehn twist on the identification torus of a cubic polynomial, coming from a loop in parameter space which varies the fixed point multiplier.
