Using commercial software, create a model of the cochlea incorporating fluid-structure interaction, viscous effects, and electromechanics. Qualifications: Knowledge of commerical codes like Comsol, ANSYS, ABAQUS as well as Matlab. Coursework: taken ME 505 or equivalent.
Assistant working on electromechanical experiments of MEMS transducers for auditory prostheses and structural acoustic systems, as well as other coding needs for our group. Qualifications: Experience using National Instruments data acquisition equipment and coding in Labview or Matlab to control the data acquisition system.
