Housing

The International House is located on the central University of Michigan campus, near restaurants, shops, and entertainment… and about 10 minutes from the Biophysics program, depending on how fast you walk. You will live in either a 3-person, 3-bedroom or a 2-person, 2-bedroom shared apartment that includes a kitchen, living area, and bathroom. The apartment complex has a fitness center and community space.

Amenities

The apartments are air-conditioned. All have kitchens with refrigerators, ovens, and microwaves. There are no TVs in the apartments but the community space is equipped with a TV that has Roku and basic cable offerings. There is also free wifi for residents. 

NOTE: You will need to bring the usual amenities for apartment living: sheets, pillows, towels, basic kitchen utensils, plates, pots, and pans.

There are small stores on campus where you can obtain basic food and supplies. In general, however, you will need to either take the bus or grab rides with your new friends to buy things at one of the larger stores in Ann Arbor or the surrounding area.
