GROUP MEMBERS

Beatriu Escuder graduated in Chemistry at the University of Valencia (Spain) in 1992 and obtained her Ph.D. at Universitat Jaume I, Castelló (Spain) in 1997. In 1998, she joined Prof. Nolte's group at the University of Nijmegen (The Netherlands) as a Marie Curie postdoctoral fellow. She has been Associate Professor of the Inorganic and Organic Chemistry Department at Universitat Jaume I since 2001 and Full Professor of Organic Chemistry in the same department since 2019. Currently, she is Senior Reseracher and Deputy Director of the Institute of Advanced Materials (INAM) at UJI.

Subir Paul did his B.Sc. in chemistry in 2012 from Burdwan Raj College, India. Then he completed his M.Sc. with specialization in organic chemistry from Burdwan University in 2014. Then He went on to join Indian Association for the Cultivation of science (Kolkata, India) to pursue his doctoral studies and obtained his Ph.D. degree in 2020. The title of his thesis is "Peptide based hydrogels and carbon nanodots: Towards the development of functional nanohybrid materials". He Joined Prof. ‪Beatriu Escuder's group in 2022 where he is studying the ability of self assembled systems to carry out organic transformations.
