Welcome to the AP Chemistry home page. Here you will find the class calendar, helpful tips from previous students, the syllabus, and other helpful links.

Tips: Some suggestions for success in AP Chemistry - Ignore this at your own peril!

• Do not save the book notes for the end of the chapter.
• Do the practice problems in the book as part of the book notes. There may be quizzes on them periodically.
• Do the assigned READING before attempting the problems related to that reading.
• Do your homework in a timely manner, and bring your questions to class the next time we meet.
• Form study groups with your peers.
• Come and see me for help before or after school or during BRONCOS.
• Turn lab reports in on time. They will help you understand the material.
• Do not allow yourself to fall behind. Getting "caught up" is harder than keeping up

Here is a great resource as you learn the basics of APA formatting and citation for your lab reports. I suggest that you look over the information directly on the linked page, the In-text Citations: The Basics and the APA Sample Paper page. You are not required to provide an abstract with this assignment. You also will not be following the headings that the sample paper provides. You should instead follow the heading that you were given in your binder
