Hello, and welcome to my Mastery Portfolio!
My name is Fiona Tumulty, and I am currently an Early Childhood Instructional Specialist. Previously, I have been a lead Special Education and General Education teacher for preschool classrooms in a variety of settings.
I am a graduate from the University of Delaware's early childhood education program and 4+1 combined bachelor's and master's degree program. I have my B.S. degree in early childhood education and early childhood special education, as well as my M.S. degree in human development and family studies with a concentration in early childhood development and inclusive education.
I have had a passion for teaching and working with young children for most of my life, and I am excited to continue my professional development towards becoming an effective teacher.
Within this portfolio, you will find my philosophy of teaching, artifacts that demonstrate my competence in each of NAEYC's 6 standards, and various professional documents that highlight my accomplishments and abilities in the early childhood field.
