I am a Molecular Cellular and Developmental (MCD) Biology graduate student and joined the Carpenter lab in July 2021. Prior to and following graduation, I worked at the Vollmers lab as an undergraduate researcher studying full-length cDNA sequencing technology by using R2C2 method to improve transcriptome annotation in mammalians. My current research is focused on identifying mechanisms by which Long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) regulates gene expression within the innate immune system. In my spare time, I explore the outdoors with my family and friends, read novels, and watch movies.
