I finished my undergrad in sunny San Diego where I received a bachelors in Biology. I moved to the bay area and worked in a biotechnology company where I learned a lot about immunology and drug development, this sparked my interest to pursue graduate school and develop my skills. Today, I am a graduate student at the Carpenter lab where I study novel modes of regulation of the innate immune system. When I am not in the lab I like to spend time with my son and family exploring parks and enjoying the outdoors.
