Lisa Sudek

I graduated from Scripps Institution of Oceanography with a PhD in Marine Biology in 2011 and worked on the ecology, physiology and genetic manipulation of marine micro algae at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI) from 2013-2020 before switching into the Biomedical field in Sept 2020. I joined the Carpenter Lab at the beginning of June 2021 and am excited to expand my knowledge on the role of long noncoding RNA in inflammation. When not in the lab I enjoy spending time with my husband and two kids!
