During my Ph.D. and my postdoc, I studied cell division (mitosis and meiosis), chromosomes segregation, spindle checkpoint and DNA repair. In 2020 I became director of the CRISPR Core which provides CRISPR services and expertise to the community. When not in the lab, I enjoy biking and hiking in the beautiful Californian redwood and along the coast. I also like spending time with friends playing board games, cooking and wine testing.
