Name: Donna Rae Jackson

Introduction: I am very excited to be starting my seventh year as part of the Weddington Elementary School Team! I have been teaching first, second, and third grades for close to 20 years. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Clemson University and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Converse College. I also have received my National Boards Certification.

My husband Jeff and I met and married here in Charlotte. We now live in Waxhaw with our two children, Gracie Anna and Cameron. We have a cocker spaniel named Amber.

I LOVE teaching! But when I am not, I enjoy spending time with my family, working in my flower garden, doing DIY projects, hiking, drinking Starbucks, having family movie night, and shopping.

Name: Annette Lunzmann

Introduction: This is my sixth year teaching at Weddington Elementary. I have taught at Antioch Elementary in Union County, as well as a couple schools in CMS. Prior to moving to North Carolina 20 years ago, I taught Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade in Wisconsin.

I am a proud mom of my daughter, Emma, who is in 9th grade this year at Weddington High School. We have a sweet dog named Leo that we love and adore. We love spending time together as a family. Most weekends you will find us at the soccer field or spending time with friends.

Name: Cindy Stefano

Introduction: I have been teaching in Union County for 15 years. I have been at Weddington Elementary for 11 years. I have taught first, fourth and fifth grade. I absolutely love teaching first grade and watching them learn and grow. I have four wonderful children who are now young adults. My oldest son, Jeff, is 24 years old and is engaged to get married next September to his high school sweetheart. I am so excited for their future. My daughter, Jessica, is 23 years old. She graduated college last year and now is working for Insight Global in Minnesota. My daughter, Joanna, is 22 years old and is currently a student at USC working toward a business degree. My son, Dale, is 21 years old and is working for a trucking company in Charlotte. I absolutely love teaching first grade. In my free time I really enjoy working in my yard and spending time with my family.
