I am an applied microeconomist specializing in industrial organization and transportation economics. My research on the U.S. airline industry has been published in the Economics of Transportation, International Journal of Industrial Organization, and the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management.

Currently, I serve as Principal Economist in the Performance and Economic Analysis Department at The MITRE Corporation.  In my ongoing work, I examine policies in the aviation, commercial space, and other key industries for the Department of Defense, Department of Transportation, and several other government sponsors. Prior to MITRE, I taught statistics and econometrics at UC Irvine where I received my PhD.
