Teaching Interests
I have a strong background in international trade and international economics, and I will be particularly well qualified to teach undergraduate or graduate courses in these fields. My ideal PhD elective course would cover linkages between financial markets and the international trade as well the welfare analysis of trade liberalization under imperfect market structure. However, I am willing to teach in fields outside my research areas as needed. For example, I have extensive experience as a Teaching Assistant for undergraduate and graduate economic history and money and banking courses.
Teaching Effectiveness
The courses that I have led sections as teaching assistant are as follows:
Note:
1.The Student Evaluation Score is the average score received by the TA in response to the statement “Overall, the TA did a good job in this course.”; 5 means “Strongly Agree” and 1 means “Strongly Disagree”. Teaching responsibilities include holding sections, grading assignments and exams, proctoring, managing grades, and writing exam questions and solutions sometimes.
2. For each course, the evaluation score is the highest score of all the times of teaching of this course.
