Research

Jennifer Branch-Mueller's areas of research are information-seeking processes, information literacy education, electronic reference sources, school library research, and teacher-librarianship education and the experiences of new teacher-librarians.  Because the Teacher-Librarianship by Distance Learning program is delivered completely online, she is interested in how learners build a sense of community in online spaces, and how teachers learn new and emerging technologies at a distance.  Jennifer is also interested in professional development for teacher-librarians and how they connect and learn through personal learning networks.
