My areas of research are information-seeking processes, information literacy education, electronic reference sources, school library research, teacher-librarianship education, and the experiences of practicing teacher-librarians. Because the Teacher-Librarianship by Distance Learning program is delivered completely online, I am interested in how learners build a sense of community in online spaces, and how teachers learn new and emerging technologies at a distance. I am also interested in professional development for teacher-librarians and how people connect and learn through personal learning networks.
