research

I am a philosopher of science and technology, and a scholar of Buddhist philosophy. Perhaps the central issue unifying my research concerns vulnerability: how might we best understand and reconcile ourselves to a fragmented world?  At the moment, I am focusing on a specification of this problem at the intersection of Buddhist metaphysics and philosophy of mind: how might a theory of mind support conceptualizing the world as a realm of thoroughgoing interdependence ?
