So I wrote an essay for 1000-Word Philosophy: An Introductory Anthology, in an effort to help with raising the profile of non-Western philosophy, and because dharma (in a metaphysical sense) is a topic on which I can't seem to find anything that's the right balance of abstract and precise. I'm not sure I found that balance either, but it was fun to try. Boiling my notes down to under 1000 words was super challenging, but also I was much helped by the patient efforts of the editors.
