Who Can Apply?
6-12 (all-girls).
Current 5th graders (for 6th), current 8th graders (for 9th), and transfers for 7th-11th (if seats are available).
Siblings, Brooklyn/Queens residents, and all NYC residents.

You should apply through Myschools.nyc.
How do I apply for next year's enrollment if my daughter is currently in 6th or 7th grade?
You should contact admissions@tywlsbrooklyn.org this summer for direct enrollment.

What is the process for a mid-year transfer for a student in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade?
You must visit TYWLS of Brooklyn in person with the following documents:
a. Student's most recent report card
b. Parental identification
c. Proof of address (different from ID)
d. Birth certificate (if new to DOE)
Where is the Family Welcome Center located for mid-year transfers for 9th, 10th, or 11th graders?
The Family Welcome Center is located at 1556 Saint Marks Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11233.
