The Next Generation Student Standards will provide students with the fundamental understandings in life, earth and space, and physical science, while developing critical thinking skills. Students will be encouraged to develop the qualities inherent in the practice of science and particular attention will be paid to collecting data and interpreting findings (CER). Science test will include CER prompts with every unit.
