English 10
English 10 uses World Literature to address our proficiencies and standards. As we work on reading comprehension in our literature, we focus our writing around essay structures. Using the Collins Writing Programs also helps students to engage in their writing process. Our more formal grammar study centers around sentence structure, and the vocabulary units identify words that students may encounter in both daily and test situations. Throughout the course, we are guided by our standards and proficiency targets.
Here are some general resources that might be helpful:

For parents and students, I send home a daily homework email, so be looking for that.
Google Classroom: We are using Google Classroom, which helps keep track of our writing / computer assignments. Ask your child how it works!
