Peter Pan JR?
This year we will have a workshop-style audition. You will need to attend the workshop sessions in order to be considered for the 2020 musical.
Space is limited.
The Musical Workshop will give you an idea of the musical process. You will have introductions in dance, vocals, and stage presence.
*** The musical is a part of our Walnut magnet elective program. If chosen, you will have musical during elective sessions D, E, and F. In addition, there are after school rehearsal sessions that are mandatory.
When is the workshop? You must attend two days (intro day and grade-level group day)
Day 1: all grade levels (INTRO)
2nd-6th graders- Monday, August 19th 3:00-4:30pm outside stage
Day 2: separated based on grade level
2nd - 4th grade - Thursday, August 22nd 3:00-4:30pm outside stage
5th - 6th grade- Friday, August 23rd 3:00-4:30pm outside stage
How do I prepare for the workshop?
Visit the Walnut website (8/9/19) and find the Musical information page. On that page, you will find the song, dance, and lines that will be used during the workshop. It is a good idea to familiarize yourself with the content before the workshop.
Will I need to sign up for the workshop?
Yes! In order for staff to prepare for the number of participants, you must sign-up for the workshop! You can sign-up at Room A1, the library, or the office. Sign up by Friday, August 16th!
When is the cast list announced?
On Monday, August 26th, the cast list will be posted with your workshop number.
