Welcome to my site! My name is Michelle McMillin and I am currently in my 20th year of teaching. I am thoroughly enjoying my time in 6th grade Ed Tech, and am looking forward to a great year. Middle schoolers are amazing. This is my 14th year at Hazelbrook. This year, I am also the Hazelbrook TAG Coordinator. I taught at a private school in the suburbs of Chicago before moving to Oregon. Therefore, I am not a Beaver or a Duck, much to the disappointment of my students. I decided to become a teacher after watching my mom; she taught for 36 years before she retired. She was amazing and I am striving to live up to the example she has set. I am always curious, as I watch my own children play school, if any of them will continue in my footsteps.
Students should only expect to have homework if they didn't finish their work in class. Ed Tech is a hands-on, interactive class.Please check Synergy (ParentVUE) on a regular basis to stay on top of grades, attendance and any missing work.
