My name is Alana Stoffan and I have worked for the Board Of Education for the past twenty six years, most of these years have been with the Head Start program. I grew up in Trumbull, was educated here and I am pleased to be able to work within the Trumbull community that has so much to offer. Head Start is a wonderful program and one that I truly believe helps all children and families succeed. I look forward to an exciting school year and getting to know and work with each family. HEAD START FACTS:

Head Start is a federally funded grant program for preschool children from low-income families in the region. Services are also offered to meet the special needs of children with identified special needs. Children who attend Head Start participate in a variety of educational activities similar to other preschool programs. In addition, they receive medical and dental services, and have a healthy breakfast and lunch daily. The children come to school 5 days a week. All children in the program are transported to and from school by their parents or guardians.
