1. When I need your attention or have something important to say, I will say "Hear Ye, Hear Ye" and in response, the class will say "All Hail the Queen". I will then further more stand in front of the class, wait for everyone to be quiet, focused, and all eyes on me. Then I will begin speaking. Respect is a two-way street, one where I expect students to give me the same respect, listening to me when I speak, just as I do in return for them.

3. If you miss class and/or an assignment, check "The Archives" for your specific class folder. There will be any missed classwork/assignments there for you to pick up. If you need more information or time to meet with me, see me after class or during a time of availability to schedule a meeting. Extra Time and Assistance for the Social Studies department is on Mondays from 3:00 - 3:30 weekly. All tests and presentations MUST be made up during this time. If there is a scheduling conflict, please see me immediately.

5. Students need to use their time wisely and go to the bathroom in between classes. If you ask if you can go, my answer will be "No.".
6. When we have someone come into our classroom who is not part of our class - teacher, administrator, student, parent, you are expected to follow the same classroom rules and procedures. You are expected to be polite to the visitor. Continue working on your assignment as usual, unless you are spoken to directly by the visitor.
7. When there is a substitute, students will treat guests in our room courteously with the same respect you would treat the classroom teacher. I am not absent often, but when necessary, I expect all students to be angels!
8. While technology is often used in the classroom, please be respectful. Technology use for students provides a framework for safe, responsible, productive, and effective use of current and evolving technologies for 21st century students and educators.
