Welcome to the Carrollton Middle School. Fifth and sixth graders attend the Carrollton Middle School wing located in the Elementary Building. The teachers of the fifth and sixth grade participate in high quality, professional development training. This training prepares them to use a variety of teaching techniques such as cooperative teaching to assist students in their success in the higher grade levels. A wide variety of motivational techniques are employed to entice students to reach their peak performance in class.
The seventh and eighth graders of Carrollton Middle School are located in the 7-12 building. In this building there are eight classrooms that are dedicated to serving these students plus the students attend some classes located in the high school wing. The teachers in the seventh and eighth grade work with the fifth and sixth grade teachers to help make a smooth transition for their students from the elementary building to the 7-12 building. The
CMS building mission is to Believe in yourself, and achieve for a lifetime! The CMS Vision statement is that the CMS partnered with the community will provide a quality education that will lead to the success of each student; preparing them to be a confident and productive member of the society, who achieves for a lifetime.
