Executive Director
Andrew Selesnick
Andrew Selesnick joined The Consortium as its Executive Director on August 1, 2024. Prior to this appointment, he served two Westchester County (NY) public school districts for 32 years. Most recently, Andrew was the Superintendent of the Katonah-Lewisboro School District for nine years, until his retirement in 2024.
From 1992 through 2015, he held various roles in the Chappaqua Central School District. He began as a high school English teacher, became Department Chairperson, and later assumed the roles of Assistant Principal and Principal of Horace Greeley High School. His final appointment in Chappaqua was as the district’s Assistant Superintendent for Leadership Development and Human Resources.
Andrew earned both his BA in English and MA in teaching from Tufts University. He received leadership credentials through the Future School Administrators Academy (Teachers College, Columbia University and P/NW BOCES), the Future Superintendents Academy (New York State Council of School Superintendents & Capital Region BOCES), and the Education Policy Fellowship Program (Institute for Educational Leadership, Teachers College, Columbia University & P/NW BOCES). Since 2018, Andrew has been an adjunct instructor for Bank Street College in their Future School Leaders Academy. In 2024, he received the Lower Hudson Council of School Superintendents’ Distinguished Service Award.
Assistant Director
Lauren Allan, Ed.D
Lauren Allan served as a superintendent in Westchester County (NY) for eight years, and was also principal at the elementary and middle school levels, and assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction. She began her educational career in the New Rochelle Public Schools as a World Language teacher. Lauren joined Tri-State Consortium as a senior associate in 2018 and became the Assistant Director in 2022.
Lauren earned her doctoral degree in educational leadership at Fordham University. Lauren is the recipient of the Lower Hudson Council of School Superintendents’ Distinguished Service Award and served as president of the Putnam, Northern Westchester BOCES Curriculum Council. She is also a member of the Suburban School Superintendents and the Metropolitan School Study Council at Teachers College.
She has presented at numerous local, state and national conferences.
