About Me:

I am a fifth-year math teacher, and I am so excited to be part of the Highland Park High family! I graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University in December of 2014 with a degree in Math Education, with a minor in Computer Science. I completed my student teaching in my hometown of Imperial, Missouri. During the spring semester of 2015, I was a substitute teacher for Topeka Public Schools and Washburn Rural. My teaching philosophy is that every student is capable of learning mathematics, achieving greatness, and applying the math they learn in the world around them. I enjoy helping students discover the incredible ways that math influences our daily lives!

I want to be a resource for my students and their parents. If you need to get a hold of me for any reason, I have listed my information below. I am usually at the school from 7 AM until 4:30 or 5 PM. Please, do not hesitate to ask any questions you may have.
