I spent most of my childhood in San Antonio, Texas. During the summer as a child, I would spend time with my grand-parents here in Topeka. In 2001, I graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Mathematics. I began teaching in Texas during the Fall of 2001. That year I decided to move to Kansas to be closer to my family. I began teaching here in Topeka in 2003. I spent the first seven years teaching reading to elementary students in the area. I moved up to the middle school and have been here ever since. Go Falcons!
