2024 Seaweed Update

If you haven't yet heard about the potential of seaweed to help humanity with high quality superfood nutrition, fertilizer, methane reduction, de-acidification of the ocean, bio-plastic, bio-fuel, textiles, batteries and even carbon sequestration, then you will soon.

Canada has the largest coastline in the world, and we cultivate approximately 0.01% of the annual global seaweed production. North America imports 97% of its seaweed from Asia, and we haven't even begun to take advantage of all the properties of this amazing gift right in front of us. It is time.

I was exposed to aquaculture through Lindsay Christianson and we partnered to create Sacred Seaplants. We are now partnered with an XPrize award winning group called Climate Foundation who has developed a process called Deep Cycling Marine Permaculture. We are in discussions with corporations and First Nations to establish our first array.

Mindfulness Project:

www.ilovehereandnow.com is a site that features reminders for us to be present. It's my experiment in online sales, and you probably need to go there right now. ;-)

WildPlay:

I am blessed to be part of the WildPlay Element Parks Team that has numerous Adventure Parks across North America and we're looking for more sites. The vision to "Help People be Brave Enouhg to Change their World" is an inspiring motivation to meet this challenge.

Dream On:

I've spent many years on a new project that was to be launched in 2018. We call it "SkyHugger - Lions Gate Bridge Climb" and we received permission from Province of BC to do a trial period. Then came the controversy, and the election and the new Minister of Transportation who denied the project.

Yet it still remains viable and we will persevere.

There is no physical or legal reason for this adventure to not exist. There is no choice but to continue.
