As a professor or professional in the field, please feel free to post your own Blog and Twitter posts about the book in Discussion at the bottom of this page, or at the bottom of a chapter page.
Each chapter's Wiki page includes four to five discussion/essay questions, additional resources, and the chapter references. All URLs are active links. Here are some ideas for using the Wiki in your course.
1. One option is to have your students discuss and/or write essay responses for one of more of the chapter questions in selected chapters, using a word processing application or your course LMS. Chapters might be selected to match specific course objectives.
2. Another option is to have students use Blogs and Twitter to write postings about what they are learning from the book. You might ask students to respond to selected chapter questions by posting their responses, responding to the responses of others, and posting new questions in blog posts and tweets. If you are unfamiliar with blogging and tweeting, you can review these resources.
3. A third option is to award learning badges to students who respond to chapter questions at different levels of inquiry. We have created learning badges and example criteria (see below). Blogging is the recommended communication method for badging, but other methods can also be used.
