Making Things Go

Hey, I'm Paul.

Most of my childhood was spent doing two things; building things and sports. My friend Travis will also tell you that I took naps everyday, but that's not important.

I'm mid-way through my 20s and that hasn't changed (I still love naps). I went from building elaborate Lego castles and recording my baseball card collection in Excel as an 8-year old to creating a nationally recognized app that's been featured on NBCNews, USA Today and dozens of other publications. All that tech stuff is still trumped in a lot of ways by creating the country's first official Corgi Race, as a promotion for a semiprofessional basketball team, that made a woman cry of happiness. I can't blame her, the mere thought of so much cuteness running around in a basketball gym is overwhelming.

The goal of this little site here is to display my creations, professional endeavors, personal thoughts, vulnerabilities and ambitions.

Thank you for taking the time to peek into my world. If something caught your eye, I'd love to hear from you.

-- Paul

An encounter with a billionaire completely opened my eyes to what leadership looks like. Read about it here on LinkedIn.

Corgi Race

Professional sports leagues don't need to rely on cheap gimmicks to get butts in seats. In semi-pro sports, the more ridiculous, the better, as shown in Will Ferrell's "Semi-Pro."

With help from my friend Brian Haug, we created a promotional video that went viral in the corgi community. It was a fantastic event that drew more of a crowd than usual and showed the power of corgis and creativity. Here's footage from the race.
